Using RinkQuest
You may play RinkQuest for personal, team and educational use. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the game, and don't use it to harm others.
Hockey safety
RinkQuest teaches game sense. It does not replace a qualified coach, proper equipment or safe supervision. Off-ice drills should be done in a safe space with an adult nearby. Stop any activity that causes pain.
Your content
Names, team logos and photos you add stay on your device. You are responsible for having permission to use any logo or photo you add. Do not add pictures of people without their permission, or anything hurtful or inappropriate.
Points, coins and items
Points, coins and in-game items have no money value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged. They are saved on your device and may be lost if browser data is cleared.
Teams and logos
Team names and logos shown by default are fictional. Logos uploaded by coaches belong to their owners.
Family Pass
Family Pass is a paid yearly subscription bought by a parent or guardian (18+). It unlocks unlimited Big Games and Season games and every Position Lab zone on up to 3 devices that enter the family code. It costs the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes, and renews automatically each year until you cancel from the "Receipts, card & cancel" button on your parent page. All payments are final and non-refundable, including partial years. Please keep your family code within your household; codes shared publicly may be switched off. The free version of RinkQuest stays free.
Team Pass
Team Pass is a paid yearly subscription for adult coaches, managers or parents (18+). It costs the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes, and renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the "Receipts, card & cancel" button on your coach page; your team keeps its benefits until the end of the paid year. Payments are processed by Stripe. All payments are final and non-refundable, including partial years, because the full game is available as soon as you pay. Cancelling stops the next renewal. If you were charged by mistake (for example, twice), email [email protected] and we will fix it. Kids never pay and never need an account. A team with an active Team Pass also unlocks everything in the Family Pass for its players.
No warranty
RinkQuest is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, RinkQuest and its creators are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages from using the game.
Changes
We may update these terms as the game grows. We will change the date at the top when we do.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
